'Hannya' is the story of a lover scorned. Her unreciprocated love, turns her into a mythical troll with uncontrollable rage. Her envy clouds her judgement, rendering her helpless as she slowly fades to stone.
About the Series
This series, aptly called 'Faces', takes inspiration from 'Oni' referring to a type of fearsome humanoid seen in Japanese folklore and mythology. It personifies the inner demons of the protagonist, and captures them in their most vulnerable state of transformation.
