Field Notes

'Field Notes' is a limited edition pack of six 6x4 Giclée prints. Six observations from inside the world of Mimic Meadow, where art imitates life, life imitates art, and occasionally someone makes a sign with an important message.

Together they're a portrait of a world that pays attention to the small, the strange, and the stubbornly original. This is a limited edition print of only 25 sets, individually signed and numbered. Once they're gone, the meadow moves on.

• 'Just a Fly on the Wall' - an observer, a witness, always present and never quite noticed. This one's been watching. It's seen things. It's not saying.
  
  
• 'Leaf My Mark' - Nature doesn't ask permission to leave its mark ... so why should you?
  
  
• 'No Kings' - Based on real sculptures that inhabit Mimic Meadow and brought into 2D with placards, opinions, and absolutely no interest in the established order. The meadow has politics. The meadow votes no.
  
  
• 'Don't Be a Banana' - A manifesto in print form. A call to be weird, be original, resist the clone. The banana is already a banana. You don't have to be one. 
  
  
• 'Mostly a Coaster. Sometimes a Paperweight.' - Art about what happens to art. Honest, dry, and completely fine with its fate. If you use this as a coaster, it was expecting that. It's already accounted for it. It respects you for it, actually.
  
  
• 'Unlikely Friends?' - An origami frog asking the most important question out loud. Different materials, different worlds, one shared space.
